A word of advice from a commuter AND MHB fan. Obviously, she must be a bit of a Mets fan too, but who wouldn't be with this gorgeous color combination???

I carry the Nantucket, the Belmont and the Windermere....all sporting Mets Blue and Orange! The wristlet I use as my wallet, the Belmont I actually use for my lunch and snacks. The Nantucket carries my gym clothes, book, water bottle etc, and then I can use the smaller bags when I run out at lunch time!

Who am I & How Did I Get Here?

As you may or may not know, in May my husband, John, and I moved to Long Island after accepting a job at NSLIJ Hospital. It was a big change for our family but an exciting one. I left my 11 year teaching career to make the move and to have the opportunity to stay at home with our three beautiful children (a pre-schooler and 2 almost toddlers!).

I am thrilled to be at home with them and have waited for this opportunity for a long time. However, I do need to contribute to our household income in some way. After all, gymnastics, dance, sports and nursery school for three will cost us a bundle. So I have decided to become a home business sales consultant for Madison Handbags.

I took a lot of time researching the company that was best for me. In the end I chose Madison Handbags (without having ever been to a party) because I love the concept. It is a design your own purse company. -- There are over 18 fabrics and over 100 styles to choose from! Also for me personally, I appreciate that this company is relatively new and making its way into the marketplace. Its home base is in Troy, NY (not far from where I have lived for the last 10 years) and it still employs some woman in their homes. I really couldn’t be more excited! I believe this will give me the opportunity to boost our household income and will allow me to build a social group (honestly, how much socializing do you think I get with three kids under three?) while allowing me to stay at home with Victoria, Charlotte and Dominic.
